In the 19th century the way children were treated would be seen as child-abuse today. They had a saying, “spare the rod and spoil the child.” Beating children with a stick was considered ‘normal’, as it was also “normal” for husbands to beat wives.

In a Patriarchal world men freely use force and violence to get their own way. They would not only be abusing women but their own children

This attitude came from the male dominated society– where males were encouraged to dominate women and children through violence.

The abuse of children was written about by the author Alice Miller, in her books, “For Your Own Good: The Roots of Violence in Child-rearing,” and, “Thou Shalt Not Be Aware: Society’s Betrayal of the Child.” She points out how cruel child rearing was in a male-dominated society. What she described is probably true in Islamic countries today.

Children were also routinely subjected to sexual child abuse. This came to light through the work of a young Sigmund Freud. In 1896, Sigmund Freud presented a paper entitled “The Aetiology of Hysteria”. In this paper he posited that the neuroses suffered by his patients stemmed from sexual assaults and violence suffered as children. Most of this came from their own fathers, brothers and male relations in respectable middle class homes. After presenting his paper Freud was pressured to withdraw it.

In military questionnaires, 49% of females admitted sexual abuse by their Dads, and 25% of males. By my calculations, then, one out of every three Dads in America molests his children.

I am really glad William Bond brought up this subject – it’s a vital bit of information as to how prevalent molestation is by fathers, relatives and other men. If one half of girls and a quarter of boys are molested by the Dad, then what are the percentages when you factor in these other relatives, friends, men in charge of children and even strangers? It would be staggering. (My guess, 60% at least have been affected.) It would be unusual for a child to escape this kind of assault. And I might add this is because of Patriarchy – it’s lack of protection of children, in fact, I believe it is structured for males to have access to them for their harm.

To put it another way, and this is shocking, Patriarchy is BASED ON HURTING OTHERS, especially the most vulnerable, children, animals, women and weaker men or those who CAN BE HURT.

His paper was singled out from all the others NOT to be presented in 1896 Vienna and NOT be published in psychoanalysis’s Journal “Wiener Klinische Wochenschrift”. Moreover, NO DISCUSSION OF HIS ARTICLE WAS ALLOWED. In the end, Freud caved in to increasing pressure. He withdraw his paper TO SAVE HIS CAREER. He then sold out completely, changing his theories. Now he claimed the patient’s neuroses came from their sexual FANTASIES rather than actual abuse. (Rasa: Sound familiar? The child who goes to Mom with the complaint is told they are lying, and SHUT UP!) Now the blame for the neuroses landed on the victim, not the perpetrator. (Rasa: Just as we rape victims are blamed for rape. I have been in criminal justice cases where men raped me or beat me up. No justice was served. I was questioned in a way to discover why I caused it, and what is my sex life apart from this? Really CREEPY.)

This about Freud has troubled me, as I have studied him since age of fourteen. I was his fan until I hard of this, as I knew this was evil. I’m glad William points out that he collapsed under pressure to save his career. I thought he was just a misogynist that could not believe his patients and thought their complaints were fantasies. So he KNEW THEY WERE TRUE AND HE SOLD THEM OUT!
It is obvious why men did not allow Freud to posit these findings – because they are the abusers – the guilty don’t want to be exposed. These “doctors of psychology” wanted to continue abusing, not healing. So Freud became part of the cover up, nothing to give him a medal for. It remained for so many more years – 1979 to be exact – the Manhattan Beach Child Care Center scandal – for child abuse to come out into the open and facts about it to go viral. (Look up Ted Gunderson, former FBI Chief, who found out the truth about that scandal, where no one was convicted of anything—and what he discovered will blow your mind.)

We are not surprised as more and more facts about male evil are coming to the front. After all, Patriarchy is set up for that very thing – so males can make war, have slaves, dominate women, children and animals, all to the harm of the entire earth, for the misery of all living things.

In a Patriarchal world men freely use force and violence to get their own way. They would not only be abusing women but their own children. This has changed in the 20th century with the rise of feminism and female power, where men might be put into jail for beating or raping their wives and children. So today, not even Roman Catholic priests can get away with child abuse so easily.

WHAT CAN WOMEN DO? THEY WERE TURNED POWERLESS FOR THE MOST PART SO MEN COULD HAVE THEIR WAY, BUT THIS WILL STOP SOON.

The result is that now there is less child abuse in the Western world. Our society has restrained the violence of men, and women are getting confident and assertive. What is happening was predicted in the 19th century when it was said that if you don’t “harden” (brutalise) boys they will become wimps.

RASA SAYS:
These are interesting posits. On the one hand, males are getting less aggressive, more feminine, while women are gaining aggression and machisma. There is more than one reason for the male condition – part of it could be their declining Y chromosome (Y chromosome is deteriorating and cannot repair itself, women don’t have a Y, they have two X chromosomes), another the pollution which is feminizing them even from the womb (female hormones in the water from medical wastes, pthalates from plastic leaching into water, is actually damning boys masculine development in the womb.)
Secondly, there have been two highly successful waves of feminism in modern times – the uprising of women since the times of “abolition” (fight to remove slavery) and the Betty Friedan work in the sixties, has sent males into panic. They are frightened and act out their anger and dominance against women and children, but year after year, the women aren’t getting any tamer and I have noticed that men are giving up – giving up and caving in, literally collapsing like cardboard houses. Their “strength” was delusion, smoke and mirrors, lies.

Unfortunately, boys are still encouraged by books, comics, films, TV and video games to be violent and macho. In these dramas, whoever is the most skilled at violence wins. Governments encourage this, because they need violent males for military.

RASA SAYS: Sure. I have seen how they squashed the studies of James W. Prescott, in 1981, after years of his study and observation, that certain civilizations are peaceful, and others are violent. The peaceful ones have intimacy with Mom, closeness, in childhood; then female sexuality is not repressed. But the opposite bodes violence. These findings are INDISPUTABLE. OUR GOVERNMENT forced him to give up the research or be fired – he was fired. Our government is the most military on earth, so they found what they wanted – the world is just as they wish it, with “attachment disorder” rampant, pandemic, resulting in broken, dysfunctional people who without a strong foundation wander the earth unhappy, miserable without SUBSTANCE ABUSE, overeating, anxiety, depression, sexual woes, homicide and suicide in the wake: JUST AS A VIOLENT GOVERNMENT LIKES IT. After all, what happy, balanced people are going to go to war to kill and be killed, to rape and plunder and devastate an innocent population?

If female power can save so many children from abuse by men, the same can be said of female power being used to save the whole world from violence and poverty.

It doesn’t take a genius to work out that men do an incredibly bad job of ruling our world. In the whole of history we find male leaders who settle disputes warfare. Not only that, there is, and always has been, a large gap between rich and poor, because men see everything in terms of winners and losers, with the rich and powerful being the winners and the poor the losers.

RASA SAYS:
This is one of the original expressions of William Bond, regarding the rich being the winners and the poor being the losers, an earmark of Patriarchy.
I might insert here that it was Marija Gimbutas who explained that in the pre-patriarchy days, the Queens lived almost the same as the rest of the folks, with no poverty and NO WARFARE. People lived in villages of 10 to 15 thousand. All was run by women, there was a Mother God, and peace. Women were respected, men obeyed them.

War and poverty will always be with us while men rule our world. So if we want to live in less violent and just world, then we need to do everything possible toward female authority.

Now, it has to be admitted that females who achieved political and economic power were not compassionate. The main reason for this is that when women enter politics and business within the Patriarchal world, they have to behave like men. They are forced to join a boy’s club and play by the rules created by men. The businesses and political parties are all Patriarchal with the same agendas.

This means we will not see the caring side of leadership until Matriarchal politics, businesses develop. In order for women to come into power and practice benevolence, the entire playing field has to change, the world can no longer be based on war, a dog eat dog, rat race society.

RASA SAYS:
Indeed, lone wolf women appeared on the scene and imitated men; there have been a lot of dicks in skirts. However, I have noticed that as matriarchy is emerging, the women leaders coming forth are doing amazing good – things we never saw from men. Indeed, the entire system is evolving slowly but surely, and a woman cannot enter Patriarchy and change it single handedly, it has to happen by millions of people changing their ideas, beliefs and actions. It’s a wholesale, worldwide change that has to occur, no female knight in shining armour can change the entire world. Buddah, Jesus couldn’t change it, how could one woman?

The point is that as we see throughout history and our world today, the more men control and dominate society the more unfair, brutal and violent it becomes. While the more women can take control and dominate our world the more loving and caring it becomes. So if we want a loving and caring world then it is up to us to ensure it is women who rule every aspect of our lives.

RASA SAYS: This is happening through education, after which follows employment and leadership. As of 2004 women scored a majority of degrees in higher education, including that of doctors, and this after years of being fettered educationally while boys were propped up. When the props fell and women could enter the best schools, they surged forward while males fell behind. Males even started dropping out of high school so badly that Canada declared it might pass a law where you can’t get a driver’s license unless you have a high school diploma (this in the effort to encourage boys).
Right now (2014) there are more men than women of working age, but MORE WOMEN ARE WORKING, since 2013 of married couples in the United States, MORE WOMEN ARE THE CHIEF BREADWINNER. Women are getting wealthier, soon there will be a role reversal, as I predicted since 2004, where women will seek a new kind of male, for his beauty and personality, not for money, and with men seeking women the other way around.
As for leadership, the golden rule is the one who has the gold makes the rule. Males ruled through resources – they had them. How they got them was not lawful, it was war – and discrimination. Now they are losing their advantage, women are gaining and they will have the upper hand. They will soon take over politics, companies, governments – it’s starting. We are on our way to that world which William Bond asks for.

Hindu mythology tells an interesting tale of the fierce battle of Durga with Mahishasura, a demon who earned the favour of Lord Shiva after long and hard penance. Lord Shiva, pleased with the devotion of the demon, blessed him with a boon that no man or deity would be able to kill him. Empowered with the boon, Mahishasura started his reign of terror over the Universe and people were killed mercilessly. He even attacked the abode of the gods. The war between gods and demons lasted a hundred years, in which Mahishasura was the leader of the Asuras or demons and Indra was the chief of the gods. In this contest the army of the gods was defeated by the more powerful demons. When Mahishasura conquered the gods, he became their leader.

The gods, utterly defeated, took refuge under Lord Brahma, who took them to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. Having heard of the misdeeds of the demons, pure energy blazed forth from Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva – the trinity forming the pure energy of Godhood. As the gods witnessed this fiery crest of energy pervading all the directions and blazing forth like a mountain peak aflame with the sun, this matchless energy that sprang from the bodies of all the gods, its light illuminating the three worlds, became concentrated in one spot and took form of the Goddess. Her face was from the light of Shiva. Her ten arms were from Lord Vishnu. Her feet were from Lord Brahma. The tresses were formed from the light of Yama (god of death) and the two breasts were formed from the light of Somanath (Moon God), the waist from the light of Indra (the king of gods), the legs and thighs from the light of Varun (god of oceans), and hips from the light of Bhoodev (Earth), the toes from the light of Surya (Sun God), fingers of the hand from the light of the Vasus (the children of Goddess river Ganga) and nose from the light of Kuber (the keeper of wealth for the Gods). The teeth were formed from the light of Prajapati (the lord of creatures), the Triad of her eyes was born from the light of Agni (Fire God), the eyebrows from the two Sandhyas (sunrise and sunset), the ears from the light of Vayu (god of Wind). Thus from the energy of these gods, as well as from many other gods, was formed the goddess Durga.

The gods then gifted the goddess with their weapons and other divine objects to help her in her battle with the demon, Mahishasura. Lord Shiva gave her a trident while Lord Vishnu gave her a disc. Varuna, gave her a conch and noose, and Agni gave her a spear. From Vayu, she received arrows. Indra gave her a thunderbolt, and the gift of his white-skinned elephant Airavata was a bell. From Yama, she received a sword and shield and from Vishwakarma (god of Architecture), an axe and armor. The god of mountains, Himavat gifted her with jewels and a lion to ride on. Durga was also given many other precious and magical gifts, new clothing, and a garland of immortal lotuses for her head and breasts.

The beautiful Durga, bedecked in jewels and golden armor and equipped with the fearsome weaponry of the gods, was ready to engage in battle with the fierce and cruel Mahishasura. Her lion’s thunderous roars shook the three worlds. Oceans boiled and surf poured overland. Continents were torn at their granite foundations as whole new chains of mountains rose, while older ranges crumbled, cracked, and gave way to dust in a thousand landslides. Mahishasura and his demon allies found their attention drawn from heaven to Earth, as Durga’s power moved its way towards heaven. Though confident of their power and control in heaven, the demons could not help being awestruck.

As Mahishasura’s armies were struck down effortlessly by Durga, it became obvious to him that he was not as secure in heaven as he had thought. No demon could fight her and win. Her breath would replenish her armies – bringing back to life all of her soldiers who fell. From Airavata’s gift, the bell, came a confusing clamor. The demons were in chaos and were easily defeated and captured. The ground was left littered with the broken limbs and body parts of the defeated demon army.

Mahishasura was shocked and enraged by the disastrous events on the battlefield. He took on the form of a demonic buffalo, and charged at the divine soldiers of Durga, goring and killing many and lashing out with his whip-like tail. Durga’s lion pounced on the demon-buffalo and engaged him in a battle. While he was thus engaged, Durga threw her noose around his neck.

Mahishasura then assumed the form of a lion and when Durga beheaded the lion, Mahishasura escaped in the form of a man who was immediately face to face with a volley of arrows from Durga. The demon escaped yet again and then having assumed the form of a huge elephant, battered Durga’s lion with a tusk. With her sword Durga hacked the tusk into pieces.

The demon reverted once more to the form of the wild buffalo. He hid himself in the mountains from where he hurled boulders at Durga with his horns. Durga drank the divine nectar, the gift of Kuber. She then pounced on Mahishasura, pushing him to the ground with her left leg. She grasped his head in one hand, pierced him with her sharp trident held in another, and with yet another of her ten hands she wielded her bright sword, beheading him. At last he fell dead, and the scattered surviving remnants of his once invincible army fled in terror.

The Gods bowed to the goddess and showered their praises on the goddess following her victory:

“Mother, you have created this universe. You are the strength of all. Devatas (Gods), Rishis (sages), Yakshas (demi-gods), Kinnaras (heavenly musicians with human bodies and heads of horses) all bow to you. Even Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwar (Lord Shiva) do not know you fully. For the Dharmik (righteous) you are Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth), for the adharmiks (evil) you are Alakshmi (she who brings misfortune). You are buddhi (knowledge), you are lajja (modesty), you are shraddha (respect). You were there always and will be there forever. You are the adhar (source) for all, You are Prakriti (nature). You save the earth by killing the numerous asuras (demons).”

The tale of Durga continues beyond Mahishasura, through the tale of goddess Kaushiki, another form of goddess Durga. After Mahishasura, two more demon brothers, Shumbha and Nishumbha forcibly drove the gods out of heaven. The gods then started praying to Mahamaya – the mother Goddess – to help them. At that moment, Goddess Parvati – wife of Lord Shiva – was going to take a bath in the river. After Parvati heard their tale of woe, a beautiful woman emerged from Parvati’s body. She was named Kaushiki. Upon the emergence of Kaushiki, Parvati’s body turned black and she then became known as Kalika.

Kaushiki was spotted by Chanda and Munda, the two trusted assistants of Shumbha and Nishumbha. They reported to their masters, that they had spotted a beautiful woman. Shumbha then sent a messenger to Kaushiki. The messenger, Sugriva, went to Kaushiki and informed her of the desire of their masters, Shumbha and Nishumbha, who were also the rulers of the heavens, that Kaushiki marry either of the two demon brothers. Kaushiki, feigning innocence replied that she was very foolish and that she had pledged that she would marry only that person who would defeat her in warfare. She asked Sugriva to convey to his masters that whoever could defeat her in battle could win her. On hearing this, Shumbha sent Dhumralochana to capture the goddess. Initially the asura (demon) tried to persuade the Devi to accompany him, but when she refused, he rushed to capture her. The goddess uttered a mantra and the asura was reduced to ashes. On hearing this, Shumbha sent Chanda and Munda to capture the Devi. On seeing Chanda and Munda coming, Kaushiki wriggled her eyebrows. From the eyebrows emerged a ferocious looking goddess with a sword and a noose in her hands. She wore a tiger skin around her body. Her big eyes were red and from her tongue saliva dribbled. She was goddess Kali. Kali jumped among the asuras (demons) and started killing them. She killed Chanda and Munda and dragged their bodies to Kaushiki. This gave Kali the name of Chamunda.

The asuras, after the death of Chanda and Munda, attacked the goddesses Kaushiki and Kali from all sides. At that moment, from the bodies of the various gods, women forces began emerging. These goddesses started fighting along with Kaushiki. Kali then approached Shiva and requested Lord Shiva to ask Shumbha and Nishumbha to surrender. This act of Kali requesting Lord Shiva to be her messenger earned her the name Shivaduti – (she whose messenger is Shiva). Hearing Shiva’s message, the asuras became even more ferocious. Among the asuras there was one named Raktabija. If a drop of his blood, dropped on the ground, another asura would spring forth from that drop of blood. Unknowingly, the goddesses attacked Raktabeeja and from his flowing blood numerous Raktabeejas emerged. Following this, Kali swallowed up Raktabeeja and the asuras which emerged from his blood.

Upon Raktabeeja’s death, Nishumbha was killed by Kaushiki after he attacked her. After Shumbha too was defeated, he asked if so many goddesses fighting against a solitary demon was fair. In response, all the goddesses merged into Kaushiki and thereafter she killed the evil Nishumbha.

Durga is also equated with Mahamaya – the supreme creator of illusions and attachment – the one whose spell even the gods cannot elude. There is an interesting tale related to Mahamaya. Before the creation of the universe, water pervaded all space. In that water, Lord Vishnu rested in Yoga Nidra (deep slumber), which was a result of a divine spell cast by Mahamaya on Lord Vishnu. From the navel of Lord Vishnu appeared Lord Brahma, the creator, seated on a lotus. From the wax in Lord Vishnu’s ear were formed two demons, Madhu and Kaitabha. Madhu and Kaitabha were supposed to be companions of Brahma but being demons they indulged in naughty acts, which disturbed Lord Vishnu’s slumber and he ordered them to limit their fun and frolic in the depths of the ocean so that his cosmic slumber wouldn’t be disturbed. Though the demons went away they pledged vengeance on Lord Vishnu. They propitiated the Mahamaya and appeased her into giving them a boon of choice of their own death, which she granted them. The demons then decided to come back to where Brahma and Vishnu resided and started scaring Brahma. Seeing this Lord Vishnu decided to kill the two demons but he could do little since they were protected by Mahamaya’s boon. Brahma and Vishnu then propitiated Mahamaya. Mahamaya used her powers of illusion and cast spells on the two demons, which made them grant a boon to Lord Vishnu. They granted Lord Vishnu the boon of being able to kill them, on the condition that he did so only where there be no earth or water, no air or ether, neither mind nor intelligence and not even false ego. Taking this opportunity, Lord Vishnu squashed the two demons on his thigh, which was neither of earth, water, air, ether, fire, mind, intelligence or false ego, since Lord Vishnu’s was a transcendental body. Thus the Mahamaya using her skills at illusions brought the evil demons to their own end……………………………………………………………………………

Goddess as Prakriti: In Devi Mahatmaya – a Hindu text on goddess Durga – it is stated that Durga is the world, and as the earth itself, she conveys cosmic stability. She is Sakambhari (she who provides the world with food from her own body). She is the foundation of all creatures and that, which nourishes all creatures. In her role as the cosmic queen, warrior goddess and demon slayer, Durga in effect protects herself in her aspect as the earth itself.

Hindu religious texts also talk about the existence of the Ten Great Feminine Cosmic Powers (Dasha Mahavidyas) which basically can be thought to be the ten fundamental aspects of the Supreme Cosmic Mother’s personality. Sai Vikhë is a Janya, which can translate either as “Angel” or “Goddess”; it can be seen as either envoy of Mother God or Dea in one of Her forms.

The Indian view of Durga agrees with this outlook. She is a “goddess” and a Form of the One Supreme Devi. She is a part of the Feminine Trinity. She may appear as an Army or a Single Being.

Durga in Her Trinitarian Form

While Mother God is often seen in Her compassionate forms such as Maria, Kuan Yin, or tender forms of Devi, there is a special need in Kali Yuga for Her aspect as ferocity.

It is that the Demons of Darkness, being stronger than ever today, must be defeated to DEMONSTRATE THE POWER OF MOTHER GOD. Thus, in India, Durga was the first appropriate form of Mother God to re-appear. She demonstrates that the forces of Hell cannot stand against her. (I might add here how is this administered? Does the extinction of males ring a bell? The Y chromosome being touched by Mother God, never to be repaired?)

Durga is a major symbol in Indian Devi-worship, with Durga Puja in Calcutta (the largest outdoor festival on earth) and with Bengalis throughout the world, celebrating the victory of Durga over the Demon.

The Warlike Aspect, or Angel, (like St. Michael the Archangel defeating Satan and his followers, St. Michael not being a male—angels have no gender) of Dea has always been with us, as it is one of the Seven Streams of Powers that form our cosmos. It manifests fully in Kali Yuga, the evil of the age demanding a remedy.

It might be stated here that the highest Holy War is against inner demons and all that stands between us and Mother God.

Sai Vikhë, or Durga, is invoked when we need protection from hostile forces, be they material or spiritual. For this purpose Durga is the best and surest form of Mother-Defender to call upon.

How can we expect girls to grow up wanting to be great if they’re surrounded by media that celebrate princesses and skinniness? Girls need to know they are more than their body shape and their sex lives.
5. Feed them a healthy diet of feminist films and books
Teach them that there is more to life than the boy, the man and the wedding dress, and that none of those things guarantees happiness anyway. Good modern options include Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld and The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert, The Heat, and (going back some) Thelma and Louise.

That growing numbers of girls suffer from issues of self-esteem during adolescence – ones that can be carried over into adulthood – is not up for debate. What is debatable is what should be done about this. Sheryl Sandberg, the chief operating officer of Facebook and author of the bestselling feminist-ish book Lean In, has come up with her own typically high-powered and certainly well-intentioned solution: to ban the word “bossy”. “When a little boy asserts himself, he’s called a ‘leader’. Yet when a little girl does the same, she risks being branded ‘bossy’,” she writes.

You want girls to stop feeling bad about being bossy/commanding? Give them a couple of books to read about or by fabulously bossy women and watch them run. Give the little girls Roald Dahl’s Matilda and Kay Thompson’s Eloise. Start the teenagers off with Gail Collins’ When Everything Changed, so they can get excited about all the cool women in the 20th century who made the world what it is today. Then move on to seminal, smart and angry texts such as Backlash by Susan Faludi and Naomi Wolf’s The Beauty Myth. They’ll soon learn that not only is feminism more than just hairy armpits and radicalism, but that hairy armpits and radicalism are awesome. Undo the thinking behind “bossy” rather than the word itself.
2. Get impressive kickass women to talk to them

It will come as a massive surprise to no one to learn that I was called bossy quite a lot as a kid, and still am (although I wouldn’t have to be bossy if people would just bloody well do as I say). Yet it’s never bothered me, mainly because I grew up idolising Miss Piggy and Lucy van Pelt from Peanuts, and never saw bossiness as anything other than a wholly commendable quality. But for those unacquainted with the mighty pig, Sandberg has made a video featuring herself, Condoleezza Rice, Beyoncé and others, arguing that the word “bossy” should be “banned” (in the self-censoring sense, one suspects, as opposed to the, you know, legal one) because it’s a way of telling confident girls to shut up.

Insults are often gendered – in adulthood at least as much as in childhood. Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright writes about this most pleasingly in her memoir, pointing out that: “If women leaders had acted the way Arafat and Barak did during Camp David, they would have been dismissed as menopausal.” Hillary Clinton was accused of being bossy by none other than Germaine Greer. Most high-profile women have to cope with being called a five-letter word on a regular basis that begins with B, but sure ain’t “bossy”. This is unacceptable, and stupid, and it’s great to have these kinds of gender-specific hypocrisies exposed – but that is different from a ban-worthy hate speech.

But let’s stick with the kids, seeing as they’re the subject of this campaign and probably more in need of defense than Hillary Clinton. Even if “bossy” could be banned, I’m not certain it would make the kind of difference Sandberg is aiming for here. I was a fan of Lean In when it was published because it is a smart manifesto for a very small demographic, which is more beneficial than a not-very-useful book aimed at everybody. In Lean In, Sandberg aimed to help women like her – educated, wealthy, desirous of being a CEO – achieve their dream. And again, with this campaign, she’s aiming to help little girls who were like her: confident but hurt by the label “bossy”. Yet, in dealing with children and teenagers, she could shoot a little higher here.

I have been giving talks at girls’ secondary schools on a regular basis and have made the obvious if too often overlooked discovery that if you really want to know what adolescent girls need, you should go talk to some adolescent girls rather than rely on memories of yourself at their age. Not once have any of the kids complained to me about being called “bossy”, but they have plenty of other issues. So after talking at several dozen schools, this is what I reckon could be done to improve adolescent girls’ self-esteem:
1. Make feminism part of the national curriculum

When I went to a talk by Kate Adie when I was 13, she showed me that there were more jobs for women in journalism than being the pretty lady who reads the weather. Girls need to see they have more options than they know about.

Feeding oneself well is a sign of self-respect, so it’s no surprise so many girls don’t. No wonder, really, considering how many stupid messages about dieting they are pummeled with daily from celebrity interviews and the media. Disordered eating is a sign of unhappiness, and then more unhappiness comes from disordered eating. Break the cycle.
4. Ban all newspapers and magazines from the school that talk about diets, celebrity body shapes and sex lives, and Kate Middleton

Teach them that there is more to life than the boy, the man and the wedding dress, and that none of those things guarantees happiness anyway. Good modern options include Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld and The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert, The Heat, and (going back some) Thelma and Louise. Keep Miss Piggy on loop.

A GOOD MOTHER IS ALL, THE SOURCE OF LIFE, THE SYMBOL OF GOD ON EARTH

(1) NO Separation from Mother through infancy, up to age six years old, is best for the infant. Pre school is BAD, child must be with a LOVING Mother, have intimacy with her. Intimacy means close physical contact, an infant should have skin-to-skin contact and ROCKING as the Mother CARRIES it.
Child needs sensual/sensory/physical contact with the Mother/ or other Maternal figures (not males due to lack of maternal instinct) in order to grow up normal/natural/ full functional in mental, emotional, physical ways.

(2) Patriarchs DISTURB the relationship between Mother and child in some cases physically, in other cases, mentally. In the ancient days of Rome, Greece and Sparta, boys were removed from their mothers at age seven to twelve to dwell with males – for supposed MENTORING. What males actually did was truncate the BOND between mother and boy and create a SEXUAL BOND with an older man. Why would this be? Not only for the sex pleasure of the man, but to divert the NATURAL LOVE the boy has for Mom and older women onto MEN AND OLDER MEN. When this occurs, the boys are then INFLUENCED, MENTORED and DIRECTED by men into their culture – Patriarchy – the war mentality, the Culture of Death, and of course DEPRIVING them of Mother Love, woman love, Matriarchy, the Culture of Peace, the Culture of Life. This is how the good in boys is STIFLED and directed into EVIL and misery for the boys and for everyone else that is affected by males – This of course includes their female partners, as well as the rest of the planet.

These behavioral effects were confirmed in his studies on primitive cultures including the effects of sensory deprivation of human sexual pleasure and affection during adolescence.

RASA SAYS: Recently was watching “Preacher’s Daughter” reality TV series. The entire show is based on the Patriarchal parent trying to prevent his daughter from partying and the possibility of having sex. This corresponds to the global Patriarchal taboo against female sexual freedom – in a study they dug down to the root of fundamentalism and discovered that what it means is CONTROL OF WOMEN (and this of course is firstly sexual control.) Patriarchy and sexuality means the following:

(1) Control women to prevent them from having sex with anyone but a husband, so that the husband is tops over the female and knows the children are his. Make all sex for women outside the marriage taboo.

(2) This of course, does not apply to men. They can have sex with anyone – (although it is not written except in Muslim circles) – about a third of Patriarchal males have sex with their children! One half of females, and a quarter of all boys are molested by their own Dads!

(3) This repression of female sexuality and female sex during teen years is part of the “double standard.” Males are sanctioned but rarely regarding sex during their teens – they can’t get pregnant and in the old days, it was hard to hold them accountable for pregnancies.

Dr. James W. Prescott, who studied numerous indigenous tribes, took note that those who kept Patriarchal standards were VIOLENT, but those who did not, were PEACEFUL.
Look at America today – with it’s “Preacher’s Daughter” mentality. We are the most warmongering country on earth, and we have one of the most extensive prison systems, mostly housing men. Not saying other countries would not be as violent if they had the power. I would not like to see the Muslims or Chinese having as much power as America – things could be worse. ………………………………………………………..

The results of these scientific studies do not support the many traditional religious and cultural values throughout the world, which deny the importance of “Mothering” and of youth affectional sexual relationships for peaceful and loving behaviors.

The continuation of this research was obstructed and eventually cancelled by the NICHD. Even the existence and results of these NICHD supported research programs was consciously omitted in a recent NIH publication.

RASA SAYS: Of course they cancelled the studies, because they got what they wanted – they learned that what they are doing breeds violence, and that’s all they had to know. Keep doing it, to stay in the war mentality, keep breeding the boys for war, as cannon fodder – but don’t tell anyone about it, just keep the studies under our hat. We want it this way – the more violent, dysfunctional the boys are the better. God forbid, boys become loving? Gee whiz, they would love women, settle down, and never go to war! The world would go to Heaven in a handbasket, no more trillions for the obscenely rich, no more slaves, no more lower class for menial work! James W. Prescott (born c. 1930) is an American developmental psychologist,[1] whose research focused on the origins of violence, particularly as it relates to a lack of mother-child bonding.

Prescott was a health scientist administrator at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), one of the Institutes of the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) from 1966 to 1980. He created and directed the Developmental Behavioral Biology Program at the NICHD where he initiated NICHD-supported research programs to study the relationship between mother-child bonding and the development of social abilities in adult life. Inspired by Harry Harlow’s famous experiments on rhesus monkeys, which established a link between neurotic behavior and isolation from a care-giving mother, Prescott further proposed that a key component to development comes from the somesthetic processes (body touch) and vestibular-cerebellar processes (body movement) induced by mother-child interactions, and that deprivation of this stimulation causes brain abnormalities. By analogy to the neurotic behavior in monkeys, he suggested that these developmental abnormalities are a major cause of adult violence amongst humans.

Prescott also served as assistant head of the Psychology Branch of the Office of Naval Research (1963 to 1966) and as president of the Maryland Psychological Association (1970 to 1971). In 1973 he was one of the signers of the Humanist Manifesto.

Priscilla had a submissive husband and was free to have a string of lovers, mostly younger than herself, so she could teach them how to please her. I mostly relate to young males, from 18 to 30. These boys are college students or models. It’s a differing experience with each.

The college students are seen in the context of a night club downtown. They surround me, want to dance with me, hold me, sometimes act sexy. But God help me if I get aggressive, like kissing their arm muscle, they back away in fear (at times), even withdrawing completely and not wanting to come near me again. They are SCARED. (They want sex, they are scared when a woman is aggressive, certainly this woman, not sure how they react with college girls—they seem not scared with them.) Of course, the ones that are extremely DRUNK are not scared and sometimes do more groping than I want – in front of everyone. (Everyone surrounds me at the club, male and female students – they love me and most of them want to dance with me.) They almost never ask me to have sex – it does happen – but it is generally a student who is not with a group, a stag or loner, seeking a female. (Most of the other students appear there in groups. These are hard to penetrate as far as a relationship, it’s a group mentality, and they stick together, shielding each other from infiltration.)

Maybe it’s good to define what is meant by “domination” and “submission” in the course of these relationships.

From what Priscilla is saying here, it seems to me, have to be direct and strong to the man in what you want, not like a drill sergeant, but in a factual way, say like,
“Would you like to make love?”
(Is that a good or bad thing to say? Only experience proves it out. I have had this statement backfire – A LOT. It seems guys want to get horny before they MAKE A DECISION for sex. It’s not an intellectual or a logical consideration. Maybe you have to paw them first, give them a hardon—then they say yes. Without a hardon, they say no, because their body doesn’t impel them. They follow their body. Not very intelligent, is it.)
Or,
“Could you center your tongue on my clitoris and not travel all over the place? This is the clitoris, I am touching it.”
Being passive would mean DOING NOTHING or chattering about irrelevant things, not saying what you want, too scared to say or do something that makes him know you want to have sex, or if you do sex, too timid to tell him how to do it.
As far as telling the guy how to do sex, that is a real problem.
If you have to explain in the middle of a sex act,
“do this – do that – don’t do this or that”
it becomes mechanical and fake, while the flow of love energy should be relaxed, not dictatorial. I can picture many situations where it would curtail the flow of what a man is doing – turn him off.
It is not an easy situation, it bears much explanation and practice in real life – like any art or skill, there are many facets. There is the facet of emotion, underneath creating a painting or making love. There is the facet of skill, by which one renders a masterpiece of art or turns on another person through love.
We need DETAILS, we need instruction that goes on and on, in many different ways, from all angles, in all situations.
I intend to use this site as a place of teaching men how to make love, and so far, I have spoken mostly about their attitude – that they must love and respect women, and women must feel the same way about themselves to receive it. But soon I am going to go past that and explain point for point, how to approach the female and give her pleasure.
There is no one easy or simple answer. This is a thing with many nuances, perspectives, ways of seeing and doing. One must go into situations, explaining the dating game, the phone game, the camcorder game, the restaurant game, the being in the house alone game, etc., etc. And then, DO I KNOW ALL THE ANSWERS? Certainly not! I can only share what I do know, what I have experienced my opinions, feelings and thoughts, and the channeling to Mother God, asking her to help.

I think it is hard for strong women in a patriarchal society, because if a man approaches her and she then tells him what she wants, and he is not use to this and so backs off. It is because he is in a situation where doesn’t know what to do, as he has no experience of being with a woman like this. Whereas if a man has had experience of previously meeting assertive women, then it makes things a lot easier, as he then knows what to expect.

As for giving a man instructions during the sex-act – Yes it can be off-putting, so perhaps it is something that can be discussed afterwards, so the man then knows what to do next time they have sex. If the man’s ego is hurt by this, then this shows that the man is more interested in his own ego than wanting to give the woman what she wants. The point is that men are not going to know how to please women unless women tell them what they want. Men are not mind-readers. They only way they are going to learn is if they are told by women exactly what they like and don’t like.

Ahora bien, si una mujer no destella que ella tiene a Dios dentro o simboliza a Dios, o que es la Encarnación del Todopoderoso, entonces no es un recipiente apropiado para la adoración; el ritual del amor no está a la altura de lo que podría ser. No digo que tenga que estar falto de amor o que sea estridente, ni digo que no pueda ser agradable o dichoso; simplemente, se queda corto para una Ceremonia Sagrada.

El amor hacer completamente perfectos, tanto al hombre como a la mujer y la mujer debe tener el Espíritu de Dios dentro de ellos, y ser conscientes de que Dios está en ambos, y esto ayuda aún más si ambos ven que el Dios Shakti es superior, el Dios Shiva es auxiliar, entonces esto – en nuestra religión llamada Shaktismo y Advaita, es un perfecto acto de hacer el amor.

Considera esto – que el hombre no tenga el Espíritu de Dios. ¿Puede entonces adorar a Dios? Por supuesto que no. El hombre que no ha tenido la experiencia de “nacer de nuevo”, donde el Espíritu de Dios despierta en él, no tiene amor. Por lo tanto, uno que no tiene amor, no puede dar amor, su “hacer el amor” es sólo una descarga física, incluso si es un crack, pero la energía es del yo inferior. Esta es la definición de la lujuria. Los que tienen lujuria no tienen compasión o empatía, se limitan a buscar socios para una experiencia física, y esto incluye todas las experiencias de abuso sexual.

Pero un hombre que ha nacido de nuevo, tiene el Espíritu de Dios dentro de él, también tiene la compasión y la empatía, tiene la virtud, se preocupa por su pareja. Esto no significa que él se suscriba a una falsa moral patriarcal, que sea mojigato o reprimido en su moral (pocos son los hombres, a pesar de que son fuertes en la hipocresía), como siguiendo una docena de reglas que le hagan un “buen chico” o uno malo. Nuestra religión no suscribe la monogamia como una regla. Si usted la quiere, la tiene, pero no se exige en nuestro Catecismo, sí la compasión.

Ahora sobre las mujeres. En nuestra moral, las mujeres no deben usar a los hombres al igual que los hombres no deben usar a las mujeres. Las mujeres han tenido que usar a los hombres en el pasado, debido a las leyes y costumbres injustas que las hizo víctimas de la economía de los hombres – ellas tuvieron que pasar por el aro para conseguir hombres, especialmente los hombres ricos por el dinero. Tal cosa hay cooperando con este sistema, otra cosa es estafar o engañar a alguien.

Nuestras costumbres no son las costumbres patriarcales, forzando el matrimonio y la fidelidad en las mujeres. Obedeceremos a una época en la que el sexo era libre, cuando no existía el matrimonio, cuando nadie se preocupaba por la paternidad, cuando los recursos, la autoridad y la seguridad estaban en manos de la Madre. Puede haber algunas concesiones aquí y allá a los tiempos modernos, pero siempre estirando hacia atrás, hacia el antiguo Matriarcado y del modo en que veían las cosas.

La conclusión es que el patriarcado ha metido la pata y ha retorcido toda la idea de hacer el amor y el sexo. Lo han confundido y distorsionado. Gritan cuán pecador es todo esto y luego producen pornografía patriarcal, donde se les paga a los hombres a actuar como subhumanos, donde se les paga a las mujeres a cooperar, y la mayoría de los hombres, que son ahora adictos a la basura, se ven influidos por ella.

En el caso del sexo, cuando el amor está en él, incluso por una hora (no somos patriarcas, no exigimos relaciones de por vida), entonces es según Dios. Pero para dar amor, uno tiene que tener amor, no sólo trabajando fuera del Muladhara.

Las glándulas sexuales, – vagina, clítoris, pene, están hechos pars el placer. La mayoría de las terminaciones nerviosas del cuerpo se alojan allí. Hay una razón para esto – es la de sentirse bien, para nosotros mismos y nuestros compañeros. Incluso si no se es espiritual y no tiene amor, el sexo dinamiza el alivio y las hormonas del bienestar. No hay una ley espiritual o razón por la cual las personas no deben tener relaciones sexuales, incluso si permanecen en los chakras inferiores. Las mujeres, en particular, somos extremadamente sensibles, y la mayoría de ellas amán más a los hombres que al revés – sin duda mucho después los hombres han sido entrenados para convertirse en muertos vivientes.

Con el fin de hacer el amor a una mujer, tienes que sentir amor, incluso si no eres un perito espiritual, debes querer tomar ese camino. Through the work of James W. Prescott, Ph.D. and various others until the mid 1970s it was established that these previously neglected senses are of overwhelming importance for the development of social abilities for adult life. Their deprivation in childhood is a major cause for adult violence.

CULTURES THAT PUNISH INFANTS OR REPRESS SEXUALITY ARE VIOLENT

These behavioral effects were confirmed in his studies on primitive cultures including the effects of sensory deprivation of human sexual pleasure and affection during adolescence.
