The Genetic Miracle
Blessed are the eyes that recognized beauty, that searched for it with no rest in thousands of living men and internet.
The woman who sought found the Golden Ring in a ghostly city that only came to life when college was in session.
Suddenly a boy was there. If anyone has said that no one is perfect, he lied. She asked him,
“Do you realize how beautiful you are?”
He said no, and even when she stood him in front of a mirror and pointed it out, the truth was hidden to himself.
“Look at your almond eyes, your eyebrows arched to perfection, the brow just so, a nose like Errol Flynn, the upper lip like a heart over the lower, the shape of your skull is a Greek God, your hair curls just right and frames your face!”
He saw nothing – just an average guy – his friends and family took him for granted; he can’t be special because we know him. They never told him he was beautiful because they couldn’t see it. The woman was astounded.
It was three years before she saw him again, in a bar. Curly locks shorn, he had a beard. Who was this tall young man? The encounter was trancelike; he was there, then he was gone – was this real or some kind of hallucination? Not a dream, he left physical evidence of their meeting, giving her the chain around his neck.
It was the boy of three years ago!
Now she knew where to find him! Could he model? – then there would be proof of what she claimed. A fear tempted her faith, that light and shadow would betray her visual perception.
But voila, the images portrayed him as a genetic miracle. Every photograph was perfect, he had no flaw – the first model without one. She had found the Holy Grail of Manhood.
Unanimous Decision
The pros who saw the pictures of Rasa Von Werder agreed Jeffry Michelangelo was the best.
The locals who knew him never saw it – neither did he. She pondered the mystery “why?” and concluded:
Because the eyes see what the brain tells them. If the brain is not trained a certain way the listener or looker does not know what it perceives. A jewel or gem could be passed over by thousands, who don’t understand the difference between a red rock or a ruby, or glass compared to diamond. Classical music cannot be critiqued by a plebeian; the unschooled take no pleasure in it.
Jeffry Michelangelo, therefore, has been declared by Rasa and her associates, as the Most Beautiful Man in America.
If anyone dissents, let us see the evidence.
