“SLOW BOAT TO MARRIAGE”

The long journey, the white satin and lace everywhere – A man has been waiting for me all night!

I was with people, trying to get somewhere and it was difficult. We were trying to get there by boat, but the boat was not even motorized, a large rowboat, and this was a treacherous journey. I’m not a good swimmer – can only go a few feet.

I finally get to this guy who’s been waiting for me all night – I’ve been with other people sort of partying but also trying to get things organized for the trip – a combination of both.

When I get to the place he’s been waiting for me there are two rooms. The first, there is all white cloth, (is it satin?); opened, rumpled, out of the bolts. The other room is filled with so much white lace that I cannot even walk into the room without stepping on it, the whole room is nothing but white lace. It’s like the shelves are covered, the tables are covered, the floor has piles and piles of white lace which has been opened and it’s already been accessed or looked at – not in bolts.

He’s asleep on his back and I walk in – it’s morning. I say to him,

“I’m sorry I was so late.”

He’s a big guy – big, stocky, not fat – young middle age, like 30′s or 40′s. I tell him,

“I got the boat ready and I have a person to help me with the boat.”

He gets up and says,
“Oh, that’s fantastic,” etc.

He was all ready to go across the ocean with our big rowboat with our things on the journey.

I continue,
“But the person that was a professional boat rower was not available. He could not make it. But I have a girl who’s willing to help,”

And the girl said,
“But listen, I’m not an expert; I’m only a junior in school.”

And I add that I’m no expert in boat management either.

He wanted to make it with him, me and the assistant across like an ocean with this big rowboat. I said,

“Now, look, how about it we go by plane and I’ll pay for it with my money?”

MEANING OF DREAM

MEANS: I WAS ASSOCIATING WITH A LOT OF MEN, TRYING TO FIND SOMEONE I COULD HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH. THE “ROWBOAT” REPRESENTS VEHICLE OF SALVATION, OR THE THING THAT COULD GET US SOMEWHERE. IN THIS CASE THIS IS A PREDICTION THERE WILL BE A LONG WAIT. IT’S LIKE THE IDIOM, “A SLOW BOAT TO CHINA.”

HIS WAITING ALL NIGHT IS BEING IN DARKNESS AS TO WHO IS RIGHT FOR HIM, WAITING FOR HER UNAWARE WHO SHE IS.

YES, WE RUMPLED THE SHEETS AND THESE ARE SIGNALS OF MARRIAGE EVERYWHERE IN THE ROOMS. HE WANTS MARRIAGE WITH THE RIGHT WOMAN, I HAVE ARRIVED.

MEANS: ON HIS BACK IS HE IS OPEN OR AMENABLE TO ME. BUT HE WAS NOT AWARE, HE WAS ASLEEP. HE IS NOT AWARE YET I AM TO BE HIS WIFE. BUT MORNING IS HERE, AND HE BECOMES AWARE OF ME WHEN HE SEES ME. THIS COULD BE WHEN HE APPROACHED ME ON THE STREET.

“I’m sorry I was so late.”

MEANS: HE AND I HAVE WAITED FOR EACH OTHER, IN OUR HEARTS, FOR A LONG TIME.

MEANS: BIG MEANS IMPORTANT. HE IS NOT STOCKY IN REAL LIFE, HE IS THIN, AND HE IS ONLY 18 YEARS OLD WHEN WE MET. WHY IS HE SHOWN TO BE THIS OLD? COULD BE HE IS AN OLD SOUL, A SOUL THAT HAS LIVED MANY LIFETIMES.

He gets up and says,
“Oh, that’s fantastic,” etc.

MEANS: THIS DOES NOT PORTEND A SAFE OR EASY JOURNEY ACROSS THE OCEAN, WHICH SIGNIFIES GETTING TO THE ALTAR. THIS “SLOW BOAT TO CHINA” WILL TAKE THREE YEARS BEFORE WE HAVE OUR SECOND DATE – BECAUSE HE DID NOT PROVIDE ME WITH HIS REAL NAME, ALTHOUGH HE DID GIVE ME A CORRECT PHONE. WHEN I CALLED THE WOMAN WHO ANSWERED SAID THERE WAS NO SUCH PERSON BY THAT NAME. I THEN ASSUMED HE’D GIVEN ME THE WRONG NUMBER AND NOT KNOWING WHICH BAR HE FREQUENTED, I RARELY WENT TO HIS FAVORITE BAR. THEN I MYSELF DISAPPEARED FROM THE AREA WE MET FOR ONE AND A HALF YEARS, SO WE WERE APART FOR THREE YEARS. WE MET UP AGAIN MARCH 30, 2014, AND HAVE BEEN DATING. WE ARE MOVING TOWARD THAT ALTAR SLOWLY BUT SURELY. THIS “OCEAN OF LIFE” IS TREACHEROUS INDEED.

And I add that I’m no expert in boat management either.
